Move over Ed Norton and Brad Pitt, here comes Marilyn Manson and Trent Reznor.

Rumors have been a-flyin’ since June regarding Manson and Reznor’s possible involvement with a particular film’s musical score — and they both want it.

Fight Club author Chuck Palahniuk’s novel, Survivor, is being developed into film and according to ChuckPalahniuk.Net, there is some serious talent interested in doing the film. According to the site, Manson and Reznor are fighting over rights to the music.

However, reports that Reznor will in fact be doing the music for Survivor and that Manson is settling for recording the audio book version. Madonna is reportedly interested in becoming involved with the film as well.

Meanwhile, Reznor is still keeping busy after recently contributing a track to another movie, Tomb Raider, in mid-June. Reznor has finished the video for "Deep," which should be airing soon on MuchMusic. On top of that, Reznor’s morbid little ass is hard at work arranging packaging and artwork for a live CD, DVD and VHS.

Reznor has also completed a mix of N.E.R.D.’s "Lap Dance," which is expected to be aired on the radio shortly.
