Sorelle Saidman reports: Shock rocker reportedly appears in drag in industrial band's clip.

(MTV News Online) Industrial-rockers Nine Inch Nails shot a video this weekend, with shock-rocker Marilyn Manson taking part in the filming, Los Angeles radio station KROQ-FM reported.

According to a KROQ staffer, NIN frontman Trent Reznor and company staged a shoot in Palmdale, Calif., for the song "Starfuckers, Inc." (RealAudio excerpt), during which Manson appeared in drag.

In the video's narrative, Reznor pulls into a carnival in a limousine. He tries to win a prize for his date, who turns out to be Manson.

A spokesperson for Nothing Records declined to comment on the KROQ report.

The video pairing would apparently mark the end of a long-running Manson-Reznor feud that is said to have started when Reznor took offense at stories in Manson's tell-all autobiography, "The Long Hard Road Out of Hell."

Meanwhile, Reznor recently told a Cleveland newspaper that he is unhappy with his label, Interscope Records. Reznor, speaking from Los Angeles in advance of the Nine Inch Nails tour that opens Wednesday in Cleveland, told the city's Plain Dealer that the band, not the label, was picking up the tab for the tour.

"Interscope used to be a label that believed in artists," Reznor told the paper. "Now it's all about profit, period. ... I can either sit back and bitch about it and let the record drop off the charts, or I can promote it myself."

Nine Inch Nails' The Fragile (1999) has shipped 2 million copies, but it has sold only 705,000 copies, according to sales tracker SoundScan. Reznor hopes to boost sales with extensive touring, the Cleveland paper reported.

Calls to Interscope were not returned.
